must reimport images when switching themes?

  • I’m using Sequential, need to move upstream to something much more functional. Have been sandboxing with a colleague’s Avada, like it a lot. Can I copy images from library to library, or must I re-import them?

  • If you’re just switching themes, your database will not have been touched. Therefore this will not affect your media library.

    However, if you are moving databases, its best to use the built in WordPress import tool to save and copy all of your contents before moving to your new website (and of course, backing up your files before doing so).
