Mutiple issues

I love the theme but after activating it in my blog, I find some issues. First the Front page content section seem not the work with any widget. Just last posts. Then another problem with the popular posts widgets on the sidebar. Despite all have featured pics, some fail to show it. If you click on the ones with no pic, I can′t see the featured pic on top of the post either.

What′s a mess is the lower section of the blog. The footer has three sections. No way to place just one which fills the whole blog from right to left?. I have put M7 posts either right and left and in one case it doesn′t have any relationship with the category chosen, and on the right hand one there′s a white pic under each post.

Is there any way to customatize the sliders with a number of variable posts?
