My 2 new sites – what do you think?

    Im new to wordpress and have followed a couple of free tutorials I found on the net to create a couple of websites. They still look really budget but I think of them as a success because 1 month ago I had never used wordpress!

    My sites are about the following:

    Best Mineral Makeup
    Anti-Wrinkle Cream

    Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Please keep in mind that Im a total newbie to WordPress and am just looking to make a functional site thats easy to update. At some stage I want to add a small forum to my sites as well…can I do that using wordpress?

  • Hi Alison. Suggestions for both of them:

    1. Your sites look like blogs. Sidebar is good for blogs.

    2. Float your images near / between your texts. If it’s alone below your post, center alignment and bigger images are good.

    3. Your footer texts are messy. They can use a better positioning. I mean these texts:

    4. You can use bbpress for forum. bbPress is forum software with a twist from the creators of WordPress.
