MY 700 Problems that Can't Be fixed, landing page pictures don't load, …

  • I have about 100 problems that cannot be solved. The 1st and foremost is that on my landing page, My pictures load about 10% of the time on a laptop, or desktop.

    2. Above the fold render blocking scripts. Don’t even mention w3 total cache or wp super cache, because they don’t play nice with anything. If anyone can tell me how to speed up my site, eliminate above the fold render blocking scripts, (and I have optimized my scripts, reordered things, changed the loading order in my header, and every solution in the book. I have almost everything a-synced script wise, utilized cloud computing from google, maxcdn, and cloudflare at the same time, spent a ton of money, and my final analysis is that wordpress is slow no matter what. Someone please prove me wrong, because I spent too much time building up a 99/100 mobile friendly score, but page speed is a huge issue.

    3. If I can’t get a landing page to look right, what’s the point? The most important page on my site, can’t be optimized for speed or load pictures…I know I’m not the only person with this issue.

    just to add, I decided to learn wordpress, because 67% of the world is using it, and therefore the knowledge is valuable. I see potential in this platform, but I will do things my way with html 5 completely with a flare of ruby.

    I like wordpress, and what I’m trying to say is I want to really make it work. I am not going to begin offering it to customers until, I feel it’s up to par and, I really want to see it work. It has too much potential. Also the rest api, if someone can help me utilize that effectively, I believe that My ways combine with wordpress, could be a beautiful thing.
