My account > Add payment Method Paypal method not showing

Users can pay via Paypal at the checkout, but they cannot add paypal method at my account>billing>add payment method. Paypal is not showing there.

Typically you have to do the View Subscription option in the My Account page to see the Subscription. From there you should be able to change the payment method or add a new one as seen in the documentation.

If you are not seeing the payment option it might be that they are trying to change the payment method from one that already exists. More on this is at this link, and you will need to make sure you have automatic payments set in Paypal for this.

If it is not showing at all in the View Subscription area, it might be something with your theme blocking it. If that is the case, feel free to reply with your System Status Report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I am actually facing the same challenge.
Under the my account section the only available payment option is credit card.
Paypal is possible only on Check-out.

How can I make PayPal available in the my account section as well?

It can be fixed by actually changing the order from whatever status it is now to “Pending Payment”. While this will not provide the immediate option to save PayPal as a payment method, it will provide a way for your customer to re-checkout and process the payment on the pending order with PayPal. Hopefully this will help you resolve the issue and the method will be saved after the checkout.
