My account in the blocksy theme

Could you please set a custom link to /my-account (or the actual URL of the My Account page) and see if that works for you? Sometimes, when using an Administrator account, WordPress will bypass the my account page and direct you to the Dashboard. Can you test with a normal user account to make sure?

Also, I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “child theme merged with the parent”. Could you please explain that in a bit more detail? Have you done any changes recently that might’ve messed with the theme’s customisation settings?

Hi there.
I managed to sort out the theme issue now. Everything as far as the theme is working perfectly fine now. But yeah I am still having issues with the My account tab. And the social icons too on the header does not work despite inputting my social url in the customizer settings.
The web url is https://www.dazzleisland.com .
I am not really sure on how to set a custom url to the my account page but I will try my best in the mean time while I wait for a response. Thank you for your replies.

As I can see you didn’t added the social links correctly, you have to enter the url like this – https://instagram.com/dazzleisland_

2. Account element
Please see this video and you will understand how to add a custom link.

wow! That was like looking for your lost keys only to find out it was in your pocket the whole time lol.
So, social link is now checked. account too. However how would a new user register? At the moment it only shows a login page for existing users it seems like. Thanks

Did you saved the options after you enabled the “Anyone can register” option?

yes I have the anyone can register option ticked and saved. I also have the my account page url there in the customizer both in logged in and logged out options. Anytime I check the site I am automatically logged in as admin then i sign out and then click on login/register but i dont see that form in the video, it just takes me to a sign in page with just user name, password, and a login button.

That form that pops up with the login/sign up tabs does not show on my end.
