    Hello there,

all internal links on our WooCommerce My Account page do not work. Orders, Downloads, Addresses, Account Details etc. They all link to the My Account page itself. (my-account/)

Although they would work fine if entered manually, i.e.
    /mein-konto/edit-address/ (base language)
    /en/my-account/edit-address/ (translated language English)

We are using WooCommerce 3.5.4, WordPress 5.0.3, WooCommerce Multilingual 4.4.0 and WPML 4.1.4.

I found a similar problem description here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/my-account-links-not-working/ but the suggested simple solution does not work.
(Which is: checking the account-end points at WooCommerce advanced settings and updating permalinks in WordPress settings twice, flushing caches.)

Any other help? How can I investigate the problem?

I know that the links have been working fine before, just noticed this, and don’t know since what date the problem started.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that links such as Account details or Orders on my-acccount page don’t work.

Most of the time behaviour like this is caused by a plugin/theme conflict. That is especially true if you can see JavaScript errors on my-account page in Console (Developer Tools). On Google Chrome, developer tools can be opened with cmd+shift+i or ctrl+shift+i.

I have a feeling that if this is a conflict – WPML might be involved.
    ?
The best way to determine whether this behaviour is caused by a conflict is to:
    ?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Check if the links on my-account page work

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Sorry, I got really ill and was confined to my bed for a week. Though unfortunately, the problem is not solved.

When I deactivate the “WPML Multilingual CMS” plugin the links in the menu are all right working fine, but I can’t use the site as intended without WPML.

Can it be for some wrong settings in WPML or WooCommerce? At WooCommerce Multilingual settings I can even translate the slugs for URLs (like “edit-address”) and the translated slugs will work, however all menu items always link to the dashboard (“…/my-account/” instead of “…/my-account/edit-address”

I have activated WP debug mode, no errors or warnings, also nothing I can see in browser error console, the page source:

    			<li class="woocommerce-MyAccount-navigation-link woocommerce-MyAccount-navigation-link--edit-address is-active">
    				<a href="https://booking.sowjet.de/en/my-account/">Addresses</a>
    			</li>

EDIT: I will create a new topic at WooCommerce Multilingual plugin support. https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce-multilingual/

I also noticed, when I add the sub links to the page source, for example link to

    “../en/my-account/edit-account/”

upon page display, this link is shortened to:

    “../en/my-account/”

The page source however, when viewed in the back end, will have the original full link.

Which part of WPML is doing something on-the-fly to WooCommerce “my account” links in a page source??

    Hi there,

I hope you’re feeling better now!

When I deactivate the “WPML Multilingual CMS” plugin the links in the menu are all right working fine, but I can’t use the site as intended without WPML.

Thank you for confirming! This means that the behaviour you’re reporting originates from WPML plugin and not WooCommerce itself.

    > EDIT: I will create a new topic at WooCommerce Multilingual plugin support. https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce-multilingual/

This is what I was going to recommend since WMPL plugin isn’t developed or supported by us and the support team of WPML might be in a better position to assist you with this.

I’m not aware which WPML settings might be causing this.
