My Account page not logging in

  • WordPress 4.7.2 running Bridge theme.

    All of a sudden customers have not been able to log in using the My account page. They had previously been able to do so with no issues.

    I have deactivated all pluggins and emptied cache – same issue.

    Customer enters login details, and nothing happens. It does not log in. Just refreshes the page.

    I have tried default Twentysixteen theme to rule out a theme issue and get the same problem on the my-account page.

    I have had to do a workaround just to get my customers to be able to log in and do their orders.

    They are logging in on wp-login and then I have a plugin that redirects them to the my-account page on login. This is not ideal, as I would like them to be able to sign into their account also from cart, and they can’t use that sign in form either as it just does not log them in.

    I’m not sure what has happened to cause this and have tried fixes from other posts I have googled that seem to have a similar issue. To no avail.

    I found out it was to do with Bluehosts Varnish cache.

    I have turned that off and now my customers are able to log in to their account via Myaccount.

    I am using W3 Cache instead now.
