My account Registration not working

I am using WordPress 4.7.1 and woocoomerce 2.6.12. I am getting weird issue with New account registration from My account page. If I try to create an account after first adding a product to cart the account does not register. It reloads the page with the password blank but the user name is added to the login field.

Then if I add the pass again and submit this time it works and registers the new account.

On the other hand, if I got to create an account directly from the account page without adding a product first it works the first time no problem.
