    Hi there,

I have a free version of WPSSO PLM Free – Place / Location,

I have filled out all boxes, but when I check mark up through structure data tool, it gives me 3 errors.

    – Telephone error
    – Address error
    – Image. Not quiet sure where even I can upload image for this.

Do I need to upgrade to sort out these issues?

    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Armands

The Free version of WPSSO PLM allows you to select an address for your non-static home page (see the “Address for Non-static Homepage” option). Is this what you are doing?

If you would like to use addresses on other pages, or customize the address information per page (in the Social Settings metabox), then you would need the Pro version.

    Hi js,

Oh ok. Right let me get this right.

The address for my static home page is added in social settings meta box.

To use address for the rest of the pages, I need pro version, right? For me it is no problem to upgrade, but need to know if this will solve the problem.

The address everywhere stays the same. There is no difference from home page or any other pages. My address is actually in footer of all pages so I guess that is not a problem for mark up?

    Thank you js,

I just actually checked and seems like pretty none of my WPSSO mark ups are there.

    No address
No local business or professional service mark up
    No telephone and so on.

    I have only
basic data there. I used to have this before there too.

I would like to know what sort of Mark ups should be there.

I have a pro version of WPSSO and free versions of PLM and JSON

I have filled out all information boxes but not sure when its picked up and how it should look like.

    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Armands

As mentioned previously, the Free version of the WPSSO PLM extension will add location information to the blog (non-static) front page.

The Pro version will also let you add custom location information for the content of the webpage (say the content is about a house, or service, etc.).

The WPSSO ORG extension will also allow you to change the default Organization type, assign a WPSSO PLM location, and manage different Organizations.

If you’re using the Free version, and location information is not being added to your blog (non-static) front page, then make sure you’ve added the GPS coords (required), and provide a URL to your home page so I can verify your markup.

If you have any questions about the Pro versions, please open a ticket on the Pro support website (the Forums on www.ads-software.com prohibit discussing Pro versions).

    Hi js,

I have added GPS value. Just checked my blog pages or few other web pages and none of them have PLM location structure data.

    my home page is https://a-fotografy.co.uk/

Thank you and let me know where could be a problem.

A “few other web pages”? I just said the Free version will only add location information to the Organization markup on the BLOG FRONT PAGE (and your front page looks like a static page, not a blog page).

Adding your address to the footer of each page is a good idea for PEOPLE, but useless for Google. If you want to add location information for your Organization, that’s done on the front page (blog or static). You can also use the WPSSO ORG extension if your want a bit more control over those Organization details (like choosing a sub-type of Organization).

Schema markup for all webpages should be about the content of that page — If you’re selling a house, for example, then you select the correct Schema type for that content, and WPSSO PLM can include the location of that content (the house).

You can also use WPSSO PLM and WPSSO ORG together to define location information for an Organization (like a content publisher, for example), which you can then assign to a “CreativeWork” like a book, recipe, etc.

Free plugins are supported by the community, so I’ll give the community a chance to help if you have additional questions about the Free version.

    Hi,

I see you are getting frustrated here. I’m simply trying to figure out why none of my PLM extension information mark up is nowhere found on any of my pages. I just checked my blog front page too and none it its there.

Also I have never installed ORG extension, but I have now organisation mark up and professional service as well. I don’t need organisation mark up. How do I disable this? I need only either local business or professional service.

    Thanks,
    A

Ask yourself how your location information relates to your content. If it’s content -> location, then all you need is WPSSO PLM. If it’s content -> publisher -> location, then you need WPSSO ORG and WPSSO PLM.

The Free version of WPSSO PLM will only add location information to the blog front page (the main entity Schema for that page), so obviously you wouldn’t see it on other pages – I think I’ve mentioned that a few times already.
