I use AdRotate on my blog to run all my clients ads. My blog, turtleboysports.com, is my livelihood. I kept seeing the “Update now” prompt at the top of the screen, and this is what it says:

“AdRotate 3.10.8 and newer requires PHP 5.3 or higher. Your server reports version 5.2.17. Contact your hosting provider about upgrading your server!”

All of my ads are gone. This is my livelihood. It can NEVER EVER happen under any circumstances. My clients pay for a certain service and they deserve it. I don’t get to feed my kids when this happens. Please, please let me know how to fix this ASAP. I can’t afford to have this continue.

Upgrade your server with a current version of PHP – As the notification directs.

Sometimes you can switch that yourself in your hosting dashboard.
Check with your hosting support on how to upgrade or if they need to do it for you.

This just happened to me too. I’m contacting my host, but why did this happen all of the sudden? Does the latest version of AR require 5.4?

It was working fine earlier today…
