My backup was made on 2022 free of charge; New policy charge 70$ to restore

    I made backup on august 2022. File is 700mb. I never knew the new policy can change the promise and now charge 70$ to restore. This is too big of a unexpected change.

    I urge you to reconsider letting the backup that was made before the date of this new unexpected policy to be able to restore without charging 70$, as it was promised so. This is a serious business which require serious promise to keep.

    Reply if there is anything I can do to restore my 700mb file , free of charge as was previously agreed.

    I am sorry if the message is not clear. You can download the backup and then import it on the import page.

    You said you are sorry for unclear message, but then you tend to avoid stating the obvious; which is, now you hold ransom to my website for 69$, to restore my 700mb backup . Because now you cannot restore file larger than 128meg without paying 69$

    You are really on the road of malpractice business.

    I apologize for any confusion caused. Let me clarify that the new policy of our plugin is not to apply any limit to the backup file that can be imported. The limit that you see is the limit imposed by your hosting provider. Any backup file larger than this limit will require you to adjust the server configuration as described here.

    Regarding your specific case, if you have a backup file larger than 128MB, you can adjust the limits on your server to work the size of your backup.

    First picture shows I successfully upload the backup file into my hosting. 700mb. Clearly this is not the limitation of my hosting rules.

    Second picture shows a list of import channel, there is no way to choose a backup file that you uploaded into your hosting. And all other channel you use, it will ask your money for extension plan.

    The third picture shows that you can’t import more than 128meg from your computer, clearly the button says to GET UNLIMITED, which will charge your money.

    Therefore you need to pay?

    How is this marked as resolved? Greed level 100…
