I like your rework of the Autofocus theme, I’ve been trying to make a page similar to your testimonial one can you share your code.

benjacobsenphoto.com looks amazing. The pics are incredible and the overall format is fantastic!

I know it’s a photo site but is there any reason why you can’t just have the visitor land on the blog page or the about page? Seems like you’re forcing users to decide what to do next and then make them do an extra click.

Lastly, I’m not a huge fan of light/medium grey text on white backgrounds. It’s very taxing on the eyes. Perhaps you could go with a slightly darker grey?

iistudios, it’s just making a page template that’s different and setting the background image.

gabe, the slideshow landing is honestly because I copied a live books site as closely as possible because some of my photo friends have them, pay for them, and I said I could do it myself for free… ??

as for the gray, that’s a good suggestion and just something I’ve left to the default autofocus color, but I don’t disagree, I’ll change it the next time I’m tweaking.

lukas, I’m glad you like it, but I’m not giving it away for free. I know I’ve edited a free theme to get what I have, but I like that NO ONE else has a blog like mine now… Sorry, but thanks for the compliment!
