I know there isn’t much content. I just uploaded wordpress and done as much as I could last night. I got to go to work soon so I have not had time to do much to it. It will have alot more before the end of this coming week.

You’ve done a lot in a few days! Your site is very easy to navigate and I like the date tabs down the side. I would put some kind of picture on your ‘about’ page. Even if it’s not you, it gives people a visual to associate with you.

Thanks nmfrazer. I will add a picture to the ‘About Me’ page. But it won’t be really myself. I personally hate giving out pictures of myself on the internet. I don’t even do it on facebook. lol

Thanks, and what do you mean more photos, and images? I don’t want to put photos of stuff from real life if that is what you’re suggesting. I won’t be installing a gallery. Also I don’t know why it would need more images either.

Well, the first post at the top is just text…some photos and/or images would break the monotony of the content. I hear this a lot from my web clients, so I’m trying to do it more (break up text with imagery).

I would provide a link to one of my latest WordPress sites as an example, but I don’t want to “spam” your thread here.

Images also help to support those who may have reading problems (reading from a screen is much harder than reading a paper page) or whose native language isn’t English. Doesn’t have to be real life photos – clip art or conceptual images can work just as well.

I will think about it. But I don’t think I will. I don’t want to add loads of pictures to posts and have the entire site cluttered with images or anything like that. I saw a blog called interviewyou that done that and its cluttered with images in its posts and I don’t like that.

Why ask for it when you don’t implement the advice or keep disagreeing with it? People have made some solid suggestions here, people that have numerous years in the web design industry, but you won’t take it…so why keep asking?

Well I know that. But like I said I don’t see why I should for a few of the suggestions.

1.) Why would I clutter my site and posts with images for people who can’t read english? My site is english and always remain english only. If people can’t read they can use a translator. My blog isn’t made for chinese, japanese, so on.

2.) I did put a picture on my ‘About’ page that was suggested by nmfrazer.

So what are you talking about Grounded Group? I need suggestions that help improve my site. But I want to make it clear my site was not made for people who can’t read english or have problems reading english. My blog is for anyone who is willing to read it.

For one you make it sound like I have to do everything people suggested. If someone suggested me to close down my blog does that mean I have to since they suggested it?
