My blog has stopped working, partly because of “referer’ problem

A few days ago my blog, myname.org showed a mysql error at the top of the page. In an attempt fix this, I made it worse. Now the blog display is all wrong, though old posts can still be read. But I cannot post anything new.

What I did: on the wordpress options page I changed the url for the wordpress address from myname.org/blog to myname.org. When I tried the blog, it no longer had its proper look at all. so I tried to go back to the options page, which itself now looked different and was not easy to reach. I changed back to myname.org/blog/ and then pressed “update options.”

the next page was blank except for this:” Sorry, you need to enable sending referrers for this feature to work.” Now I cannot change anything. i tried to do what wordpress said about referers, but nothing has helped.
