My blog in IE appears with a white box over post

It does not appear in IE9, only IE8 and 7.
It is this, <object name="XdComm" id="XdComm which I assume is the source of that irrating music. Note: Always have an obvious button so one can turn of sound.

Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Hmmm. Too bad about the IE9 thing. I tried IE9 and hated it, so I switched back to IE8. I’ll try taking a look at the plug ins folder.
