• Firstly, I sincerely appreciate the work put into this theme. Thank you.

    I have a little issue with the theme.

    After adding ad code using the Hook, the ad appears repeatedly.

    I added to code to the After Content (astra_entry_bottom) and on Blog / Archive page, the ad appears after each title. This obviously isn’t a good user experience.

    Please help me fix this.

    Thank you.

  • Hi @diraph,

    What is your expectation with the code you have? Please share the code you are using. You can change the code to show the ads with any string like Lorem ipsum or anything.

    However, please just bear in mind that customization and custom code is something beyond our support. So, we are not promising you with anything.

    I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi thank you for your response.

    However, I don’t have n issue with the code.

    The aim is to show an ad.

    The code shows well (just once) in single post.

    The issue is that the ad shows multiple times on archive pages

    Do you understand?

    Hi @diraph,

    I believe you can modify your code so it will work only on the Single Post and will not work on the Archive page.

    Let us know if you need more help, otherwise please mark the topic as Resolved.

    Kind regards,

    It’s a simple html code. Sorry I can’t modify it to work on just single post. Any help?

    This is the code:

    <!-- Random Posts From a Category -->
    <p><strong>Stories You Shouldn't Have Missed:</strong></p>
    [arpw cat="46914" limit="5"]

    <!-- Join Social Media Handles -->
    <p><strong>Join Our 500,000+ Community:</strong></p>
    <ul><!-- wp:list-item -->
    <li>Follow Us on <a >WhatsApp</a>, <a >Facebook</a>, <a >Twitter</a>, & <a >Instagram</a></li>
    <!-- /wp:list-item -->

    <!-- wp:list-item -->
    <li>Receive Free Daily Update on <a >Telegram</a>, & <a >Email</a></li>
    <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul>

    Hi @diraph,

    I am sorry, but I think I have gotten myself confused here. In your initial post, you said that you added code to show ad. However now you shared only HTML code.

    How did you add the ad to your site, exactly? Adding the PHP code to the functions.php file of your child theme or using a third-party plugin or…?

    I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Oh no. After waiting for days, I got this reply. I am not happy.

    Kindly read my first post. I said I added the code using the Astra Hooks plugin.

    I added the code to the “After Content” (astra_entry_bottom).

    It shows well on Single Post but shows repeatedly on archive pages.

    Please I have waited for over one week, kindly help fix in your next response.

    Hi @diraph,

    Sorry for my lack. However, you didn’t mention Astra Hooks plugin in your initial post. Instead, you only said Hook, as seen in this screenshot, that’s why I confused when you said the code you have is HTML.

    Actually, that’s an expected output when you add something using Astra Hooks plugin as it will show up anywhere on your site wherever the Hook exists.

    Please use custom PHP and add it to the functions.php file of your child theme. You can add a condition to the code that the code will work only on the Single Post.

    I hope it will help.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi, thank you for replyig.

    However, Hooks isn’t the best fit for me then.

    I tried out Ad-Inserter and it gave me the flexibility.

    Regards.

    Hi @diraph,

    Actually, there’s a similar feature to the Astra Hooks plugin that will fit your needs. However, it will require the Astra Pro plugin. If a third-party plugin like you mentioned fits your needs, I guess you can stick with it.

    Well, let us know if you need more help, otherwise please mark the topic as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
