• Hello everyone, I’ve recently launched a design & photography inspiration blog and I’d love to get your feedback on it. The theme is temporary and it will soon be getting replaced so please bear that in mind when giving feedback.

    Here is the website.

    Thank you all.

    You got a very creative domain, inspiringm.ag ?? very good logo too. Nice to see a good about us page too. Here are few points you can still improve on.

    1) Try removing the day/month/year from the post urls, no point making urls longer.

    2) Your images are not optimised, instead of choosing the image file names like jared25, jared26, try giving them a good and targeted name, also i see the alt tags missing for the images, so you can add alt tags to the images. Overall you got plenty of images and at a great resolution which is looking good and at same time loading fast.

    3) I would recommend using social media, your posts are very good and your images are very nice. So am sure the social media will provide you with lots of traffic. Try using some digg/stumble buttons. Good to see the facebook and twitter widgets on your front page and their buttons on the posts.

    over all, you have a great blog, keep it updated,
    cheers,

    @thebettertwin – Thank you!

    @healthvotes – URL’s are now shortened as the dates don’t appear anymore. I’ve been torn between putting too many buttons on posts and leaving just the essential ones there. I feel like if someone wants to share a post on stumbleupon, reddit or digg they’re tech-friendly enough to copy the URL over. Not sure but I feel like they clump the page up and seem almost spammy. I’d love to hear some other peoples views on it though. Again, thank you for your insightful feedback. It’s people like you that make the internet a wonderful place. ??
