Hi i have tried to install my calendar on WPMU and i can’t add any events

I ger this message “You haven’t entered any events, so My Calendar can’t tell whether your database is up to date. If you can’t add events, upgrade your database!”

When update nothing happens i still can’t add events, is this because of the WPMU?

When you say “WPMU”, do you mean WordPress configured for multisite, or are you actually using WPMU, the version from before the two were merged?

I had no idea there was a difference, it is the wordpress configured for multisites, its a new site that i am building up if that helps

OK. Great. There used to be a separate product for multisite; and if that was what you were using, the answer would have been “definitely not going to work…”

Anyhow, My Calendar does work on multisite, but there are a number of factors that could cause trouble.

Do you have the plug-in network activated or activated on individual sites only?

    The plugin is network activated

Do you get any specific message when you try to add a new event – something other than that error?

Okw well i figured it out (i think)

First what i did was installing my calender on a other WPMU to see if the plugin was the problem, and because it worked on that site i knew there must be a problem with this new install.

So first i deleted the site, removed the rows in the database manually and still the plugin didn’t work it got even worse as i could not add events anymore when re-installing the plugin.

So i did a complete re-installation of WP mu and now it works fine, i have no clue of what the problem was, but i guess because my database was a mess from installing/removing plugins that the problems was there somewhere

Anyhow it works fine now, thanks for your help.

Well, whatever the issue was, I’m glad it’s resolved!
