My cart page doesn’t show

  • Hi!, im building an e-commerce multivendor for the last 2 months and never got any problems with my cart page, but recently, I added 200 units of a product to my cart, then suddenly in my cart page only shows the shortcode for woocomerce “[woocomerce_cart]” and that’s it!

    I don’t know what the problem is, I don’t think its something wrong with the plugins but will see. No plugins were added recently.

  • Your WordPress has updated to version 6.2.1 which was released this week. Included is a security fix that affects shortcodes in FSE themes. These are no longer executed for security reasons. That’s why you see the shortcode on your shopping cart page right now.

    The WordPress community security and editor team are already working on a better solution. You can read details about the problem here in the trac ticket: https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/58333.

    For you I see only 2 possibilities at the moment:
    a) You change your theme to a classic theme. Currently you have TwentyTwentyTwo activated. You could switch to TwentyTwentyOne and the shopping cart function would be back immediately. However, you would have to redesign the look of your site.
    b) You wait for the next update of WordPress, the 6.2.2, in the hope that there is a more suitable solution for the problem.
