    Hi niki_tara,

Can you send me a link to your site so I can see the issues being displayed?

    Thanks!

    Ηere you are:

I have now dissabled the plugin, but i can send you a screenshot of the site with the wrong appearance.

I am having the same problem. The styles entered through the Simple CSS plugin page are not overriding the default styles in the theme I am using, “Luminescence Lite.” I got so frustrated, I had to implement inline styles (OMG, yes), but cannot do that in many places and I really need this to just work, not only to implement my own style edits but also so I can restore my styles after theme updates.

Page in question: https://rapidotaxservices.com/ and the header image on the page content will not accept my padding and margin overrides.

Has there been any solution proposed to this anywhere in this forum? I have looked, but do not see anything.

@misterj – I’d suggest asking this on the theme’s own forum – as the header image dimensions are often coded into the theme. You can post in the theme’s own forum here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/luminescence-lite#postform

(And please don’t post in other people’s threads next time – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post )

Thank you for your help. Sorry for the posting here, I mistakenly though I should post on a thread relevant to the topic.

I’m trying to add drop down arrows on my main menu items in WP 2011 theme. I’ve copied a couple of css codings from the WP forum, and nothing shows up on my menus. Can I do this in 2011 theme? Or am I not using the correct css? Thanks

So after clicking “Update Custom CSS”, and viewing my website, the styles are correctly applied, but if I logout of wordpress and go to my site, the styles are no longer applied. Or opening my website in an incognito window. What happened to them?
