My Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies content is GONE!

    I uploaded my files and db to my live site from my local site and ALL my 10 custom post types and taxonomies are gone! I did what someone on the forum said to do which was add a new CPT or Taxonomy in Custom Post Type UI, then go to the live db and replace the options row with the original ones. That did restore my Custom Post Types, but where is all of my content?? Please help!! How do I get the content back?!

    Oh, hold the phone. It seems to be populating slowly now. Whew. But why didn’t my images migrate?

    The saved option should have transferred fine as we don’t store anything related to the url that would change the serialized string length. As long as the post type posts and taxonomy terms are left in the database, they would be available via UI again once their post type/taxonomy are re-registered. Basically no data was lost as long as the tables remain unaffected with the move.
