My Custom Theme Won’t display Video

    Hello,

    I made a custom theme, based on the Default WordPress 2.8 Theme.

    Uploaded video will not display on my posts.

    the address of my blog is https://www.copperharborboatworks.com/news

    As you can see in the top post, where there should be video displayed, there is only links.

    I have tested the same post in the default wordpress theme, and the video displays properly.

    Thanks for any assistance you may have.

  • look at the source, use the validator.

    compare that source to what you see when using the unedited default theme. besides the obvious elements — whats different?

    I see escaped quotes visible in your source… dunno what to tell you — its your theme. You ought to be able to compare the 2 rather simply, and come to your own “web developer” troubleshooting method.

    Thank you so much for the excellent advice.

    That was exactly what I needed to do. I updated some of the links to Javascript files in my page header and now everything is loading properly.
