my email is not showing up despite it filled in

does anyone have explanation or fix for why the email does not show up when I filled it out on the widget?

ps I have looked at issues resolved in this forum but being that I have most recent version of the plug in that should not be the issue.

You can find the version of WordPress from on the dashboard, at the bottom of the ‘At a Glance’ container. Example: https://cldup.com/bSDr0HXCoH.png

As for your issue, can you try disabling your other plugins to see if the issue persists. I just did some testing with the latest version of WordPress (4.8.2), Primer (1.8.0) and Contact Widgets (1.4.1) and I’m not able to replicate the issue.

thank you for your help. Glitch in brain thanks for reminder where to see my versions. Yep I am up to date on all . SO I clicked on deactivate all other plug ins and even attempted to refill the email address in contact widget again and nothing changed.

SO the problem is sadly still not resolved. I already tried deactivating other plugins, cleared cache, contacted Go Daddy and they cleared cache 2 times. I contacted Beaver Builder ( I have their light version thru go daddy) and they initially said they did not think it was issue on there part. There now are other situations where I am attempting to customize site and I go through steps to save and publish but the changes are not showing up.

any suggestions are strongly appreciated. I am so deep into the time on this without finishing it.

Are you able to turn off your coming soon plugin so I can take a look at the page again?

thecheerproject.com is live…. with all it’s flaws that I have not been able to resolve yet ??

wow , now that I see it live on my cell phoe I see the glitches are worse than I knew!

examples:
1) I already knew there was issue with home header image looking fuzzy and then showing up again below it looking good… No idea why
2)When you click on get involved link which should take you to contact form it instead takes you back home.
3) when I click contact link the websites phone# AND email now do not show up
( which is odd cause they were showing up when I was working on them on computer.

that is just the beginning !

It looks like I can click the email link but it’s not visible because the link is set to white. This is the same reason that the social icon links are not visible under the ‘Follow Us’ widget.

What is the setting that you have inside of the customizer for link color? You should be able to alter the color for links inside of the customizer to make the links in the footer widgets visible.

by walking through the site using customizer vs walking through the site “live” you can see lots of differences…. starting with home page and on computer monitor vs mobile

I did not set up the social media links yet ( unless i forgot from working in wee hours)

I am not sure how or why the text for link for email is different than phone. . I will check … THANK YOU!!!

The phone number is not a link so the actual color is different since it is a different HTML element.

You can change the link colors for the social icons and the email address inside the customizer.

From the dashboard you can go to ‘Appearance > Customize > Colors > Content > Link Text‘ and alter the color to something that you like.
