My favorite stats plugin for WordPress

  • I’ve tried every different stats plugin I could find, including Google Analytics Dashboard or whatever it’s called and SlimsStats, but this one is the best. I like how all the stats are on its own separate page with a very clean interface.

    My only complaint is that for some reason the statistics are suspiciously higher with this plugin than they are with the Jetpack plugin that I also have installed right now. Why is this? I checked the two boxes in settings to ignore administrators and bots, and I also excluded my IP address, but for some reason I’m getting hundreds of daily pageviews with this plugin and only like 50 pageviews with Jetpack statistics (my blog is a few days old). Why is this?

    The reason for a higher pageviews with WP Power Stats is due to some bots being tracked. With the release of WP Power Stats version 2.0 the statistics should be dramatically more accurate.
