My feed does not validate | XML parsing error

  • My website is under OceanWP theme + elementor. After updating the OceanWP my RSS feed is not working anymore. W3C validator points out “XML parsing error: <unknown>:784:53: mismatched tag”. Can you help me with the error? Or should I remove OceanWP theme to fix it?

    It seems the plugin conflict issue. Try to disable all the nonocean plugin and check if it is working or not. If yes, enable the one by one plugin, and refresh the page after enabling each plugin, to check the conflict issue.

    ANd also try to switch to the default theme like twentytwenty and check if it is working or facing the same issue.

    how ever disabling plugins didn’t help. I also tried to switch default theme, but it did not help either. Feed validator gives the same result: “This feed does not validate. Server returned HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error” and mismatched tag. Is there anything else to do to?

    It doesn’t look like a theme-related issue, If it is a theme issue it should not be there after switching the theme.
    Kindly check your site settings to rectify this issue. OceanWP doesn’t have any issue related to it.
