• Having been informed of the current vogue of “eLearning” and the huge sums of money involved in programming bespoke packages, I was merely curious as to whether I could fulfill the following criteria using only open-source software, freely available…

    1. Student had to register
    2. A section must be completed satisfactorily before progression to further sections
    3. A PDF “Certificate of Completion” must be available upon passing.

    I am happy to say that with a little time and effort, the “Namaste! LMS” plugin (combined with 3 others) successfully achieved the objectives, and I’m happy to rate it five stars!

    Having created a “proof of concept” site, I sincerely hope the charity I put this together for move forward in the “open source” direction, and purchase the “pro” version of this and the other plugins I’ve used (as the community needs support from those who are able to afford it).
