• Well my blog has been acting strange in firefox, the links are floating and the width is strange. I’m no programmer so I really dont know where the probelm lies.

SO, I decided to change my template. But when I went to the wb content, I couldnt open the theme folder to paste the new theme.

It gave me an error stating:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /home/arabesqu/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/index.php on line 2

    Any help?

I searched your archive, but didnt find a similar problem

    Thanks in advance!

Are you uploading a whole new theme?

    Yes I am.

A friend uploaded me the last one. So I’m not familiar with the process of applying a new theme, but I read whats written on the below bar of the wordpress thingie which says: “To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory”

    So thats what I followed.

    Wrong step?

    Ah…

You have this in the error
    /themes/index.php
A theme lives in a folder called by it’s name
    /themes/default/index.php
    /themes/blix/index.php
etc so what you need to do is upload the folder with the files in it rather than just the files.

Or have I got it wrong?

    Hmmm

Can I ask a stupid question?

    How do I upload it?

p.s: sorry for my igonrance. I can help anybody in Architecture though:D

Upload = to transfer files from your computer to the server where your site is hosted, usually using a so-called FTP client (or program) that is specially desgined for this task.
    See if this helps:
