My first wordpress website. Advices and suggestions are welcome

Hi all,

I would like to present you my first website running on wordpress. I am a PHP developer and have been developing with Zend Framework for the last six years.

Because of clients specifications, I’ve been also developing with other CMS such Joomla! and Drupal. Now I’ve decided to try wordpress since everybody say its very easy to start with and have lost not few clients because of being focused in other platforms.

By the way I’m glad to show you my first WP website. It’s a non-commercial site, a kind of project in which I want to offer any kind of guides, tutorials and resources for e-learning: formacion online.

By now it’s only available in spanish, but I would like to translate to English and cover more areas:

• Programming:

• PHP
• JAVA
• C#
• JavaScript
• Objective C
• Perl

• Design:

• PhotoShop
• In Design
• FireWorks
• Autocad

• Science:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Mathematics

• etc.

As I have told, I’m new in WP but not in PHP and my Design skills are very, very limitated. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions, design one as well as to increase performance or which plugins install for multilanguage purposes, etc. [duplicate link moderated]

Any suggestion is welcome. I have bought a VPS, do you think the website is loading fast or should I change my hosting provider? Which one would you recommend?
