My footer.php is suddenly mostly jargon like: QEn1H1Q4TObD3fT8GBxdC

I’ve recently started a new IM project and made only one change to my footer, to add a Woopra code for real-time traffic tracking. Perhaps that’s what caused the problem, perhaps not, I have installed a lot of plugins since then.

Now my footer.php file is mostly just jargon, one massive section of it, as shown below.

It’s surprising difficult to get a google result for ‘reinstall foot.php’ or some such. How do I recreate just the footer without having to reinstall WordPress?

Can someone suggest what might have caused this?
