My form field codes have disappeared (Chinese language form)

    Have version 3.8.1 WordPress but version 3.6 of Contact Form 7 – I have not yet updated to version 3.7.

    I have several English forms in my blog and two forms in the Chinese language. When editing them this morning – all the form fields in the Chinese language forms had disappeared. Everything was blank. Title was there and Chinese message info was there, but nothing in the actual form itself.

    Where has it gone and will it come back when I upgrade to Contact Form 3.7?

    If anyone has any idea, please let me know.

    It can’t happen unless you have deleted the Form content and saved it. Probably it won’t come back even if you upgrade to the latest version. What did you do just before it disappeared?

    I was updating Chinese form No. 1. I changed a few places and saved it.

    Then I went back into the Chinese form No. 1. But the form was empty. I thought it might be an internet problem so I logged out and logged in again. But the contact form was still empty.

    Then I visited the website and tried to open the link to the Chinese form but nothing on the page.

    What surprised me was that Chinese Form No. 2 also disappeared.

    Could this have anything to do with site caching?

    I don’t think this relates to caching or Chinese language. I think it’s possible that the same thing affects English forms as well. What other plugins and theme do you use? Because the most possible cause of this is conflict with them.

    Try deactivating all other plugins which you can deactivate now. If you continue seeing the issue, you’ll need to make a testing environment with the same WP version, plugins and theme to figure it out.
