• HI

First off I am completely new to this and trying to start my first blog.
I have no code experience. My site still coming soon as want to get it right before I launch.

I have set up my posts and pages and have been playing around with themes and creating a static homepage ( as I could not figure out how to get a header image and title to line up as I wanted in most themes).

Firstly – I wanted to add posts to the static page using plugin post grid but not showing up when I add the shortcode – and no photos are connected to the post even though I have photos in them.

Secondly – I then tried a non static homepage and edited my first post on the backend then with wp composer on the front end now even after saving they do not match – the text is different front end to the back end.

Also does changing and customizing between themes affect the homepage as I have had a bit of a pay around and wondering if it is causing any trouble – should i refresh to start from scratch?

Thankyou for your help – greatly appreciated as it is driving me crazy.
    julie
