My Home page is showing updated content, but the back-end isn't

  • Hi, folks.
    I’ve got an unusual issue to say the least. For some reason, the page I have set to be my home page is showing the most up-to-date information, but the back-end version of the page is showing the same Lorem Ipsum text that was originally put there back in 2011, and it’s missing large amounts of the structure of the page. The updates stop after 2011, too. I can’t seem to find where the Home page is being pulled from.

    FWIW, I updated to the latest wordpress build, and all my plugins are up-to-date. Also, I checked that my Settings > Reading settings had the Home page set to be my front page.

    I’m very confused as to why this would happen, and any help would be much appreciated.

    Another curious thing about this problem is that it says that the page was published almost a month after the last revision that I can find. Could it be that some revisions just up and disappeared, and if they did, does anyone know how I can find them?
