    Hi there,

I am new to WordPress and using the Sliding Door theme and it is coming along well.

The homepage for my site is https://www.GilesClarke.com
However, whenever I sign on to my homepage, it takes me to a page that says:

    Nothing to see here
You seemed to have found a mislinked file, page, or search query with zero results. If you feel that you’ve reached this page in error, double check the URL and or search string and try again.
Alternatively, a more personalized method of tracking down and searching for content can be found below.

The “below” word is also a link to the homepage, that will give you the same message.

The Home tab I have in the slider menu and the Home link I have on the pages bar on the left side of my screen both take you to the correct homepage, which is actually http://gilesclarke.com/?page_id=50 but everything else does not.

How do I go about moving this page to GilesClarke.com? I can’t find anything regarding this matter on the admin site.

    Thank you

Did you set the page as a static front page? It looks like your theme doesn’t know what page is meant to be the front page ??

Great, that fixed it. I thought I had done that, but then I remembered that I had erased the previous page and re-wrote it.
    Thank you so much.
