My images are auto resizing?

    I have a theme which in the top of it has a featured slider, this feautured slider is 100% width, that means it doesn’t matter on what monitor you are, it’s always the full width.

    Because most people have max 2560×1600 or something like that I took a picture and uploaded it to the featured slider, the problem is it is getting shrinked when uploaded, so now even on a 1920×1080 monitor it looks like it is the half width..

    Why? Doesn’t wordpress support huge images?
