My in-site links redirect to xampp sandbox

Hi all,

I am running a copy of my wordpress site on my desktop using XAMPP.

I followed this guide: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Test_Driving_WordPress#Installing_an_Existing_WordPress_Site

The frontpage loads as normal, and I can access wp-admin. However, when I click on any in-site post, whether to a post or a page, it redirects to the xampp-dashboard.

I am not sure what I did wrong.

Anyone have any clues to point me in the right direction?
