My just imported users cannot log in

    I have just imported 100 users and testing them but none work. I enter the email address or user login and the password I have set manually but the login just judders blanks the password.

    Resetting the password manually still fails. But if I create a brand new user it works. Any ideas? fwiw I have cleared the browser cookies and tried Chrome, Firefox and EdgeMy only option is to delete the users and enter them each manually. 100?

    I have had this problem a a few years ago, I never resolved it and the client abandoned the site. Clearly it is not resolved.
