My Link Order – order stays the same

    Using WP 2.8.5.

    I’m able to drag the category headings with the My Link Order plugin.

    And save.

    But the categories don’t change on the site.

    They stay in the order they were when I created the second (of two) categories. Alphabetical, apparently.

    I hope to be able to over-ride what I guess is a WP default to alphabetical. I’m pretty sure My Link Order is intended for that.

    from the instructions for the MyLinkOrder plugin:

    4. If you are using widgets then replace the standard “Links” widget with the “My Link Order” widget. That’s it.
    5. If you aren’t using widgets, modify sidebar template to use correct filter(additional parameter seperated by ampersands):
    wp_list_bookmarks('orderby=order&category_orderby=order');

    In other words, If you are not using it as a widger, you must modify the code in the theme template file.
