My main page doesn’t show posts from the default category

Have you modified your theme at all?

When you switch to a different theme, do you still have the same problem? If you don’t, you know it’s a problem with your theme. If you do, you know it’s a deeper problem. Knowing that info is a good place to start.

It does that with every theme.I passed on a similar thread some time ago,as i remember and i dont recall being a big problem.I didn’t find that thread…anybody has any ideeas how to fix this?

i tried different approaches…still nothing…any more ideeas?

So your default category is excluded from your main page? And you haven’t modified your pages at all? Are you sure that you didn’t modify your index.php in your root directory?

That doesn’t make any sense. What other things have you tried?

What plugins do you have activated?

I didn’t modified any page,just the template pages.Moshy,u want a list of my activated plugins?

Whoa, whoa! If you modified the template pages, you modified a page! The template pages are exactly what I’m refering to. What did you change?

Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins to see if that makes a difference? Try that, then turn them on one by one.

?? ya..i know what u asked..but i changed to a DIFFERENT theme without altering that..and same…

any other ideeas? i still dont get it to work ??
