• I have lots of MP3s that are made available to members of my site. This plugin makes organizing them into sub-folders/directories easy, but does require some care because it seems you have to upload to the WP base folder “uploads” and then MOVE your file to whatever sub-folder you intend to be the file’s “home”.

As best as I can tell, it only creates two records in the wp_postmeta table, so that’s pretty efficient.

Not sure if it is a “unique” plugin for WP, but very rare if not truly unique.

    Very nice implementation!

You should be able to upload to any sub folder. Is this not working for you?

I can select any sub-folder, but for some reason the upload goes into the “root” (./uploads) folder then I have to move them.

Perhaps some other plugin is causing this to happen.

    Actually it was/is “operator error!”

I AM able to upload into the sub-folders as you asserted. I was confusing what I see in the “insert media into a post” where it looks like the files are in the root, but actually reside in the sub-directories.

    Sorry to have been uninformed!
