Absolutely Incredible

  • Blown away by the simplicity. It took me 15 minutes to move a site with ALL of the plugins (including the cache settings) from 123-reg.co.uk to 1and1.co.uk – No hassle. Just installed Duplicator on the 123-reg. Ran through the 5 minute process on the original site. FTP the two generated files to empty folder on the new host. Ran the installer.php Done! I mean done in one go. I had a dig around the new site looking for any bits that might need tweeking. Nothing. A straight duplication using a new url. Try it. It works.

    I’ve tried other duplicators/cloners. None are as simple as this. I have a whole bunch of clients that set themselves up on 123-reg. EEK! Now I can move them also.
