my nivo slider and the impossible border removal

Been trying to figure out what code is needed to remove the orange border line from front page nivo slider.
tried several different ways but just not finding right code.
you will see it right underneath the menu bar. I was able to shorten the length (as you can see stuff under slider is overlapping border). But still haven’t been able to remove border line.
