My Own 8Tracks Website

  • Hey guys,

    I setup a WordPress site based on Themeforest’s Clubber theme. The soul purpose of this site is to be my music library with different playlists. I really like how 8Tracks does it. I like how they’ve got a player in its own frame at the bottom of the page, so that when you browse different pages on the site, the music never stops.

    My current website is protoquest.ca/music currently, I’m facing 2 problems with this theme.

    1) When a song finishes playing, the next one on the list does not start playing automatically.

    2) When you play a song, and leave the page, the music stops, which is annoying.

    Any feedback as to how I can fix these issues, or maybe a suggestion for a different theme would be greatly appreciated!

  • Sorry, but you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme for help with customizations and issues.     Thank you for your reply! The reason I posted here, is because the modifications I want to accomplish are beyond the theme’s scope of features and the author of theme would not be willing to help with adding features to the theme that don’t already exist.

    I am looking for possible feedback from people who have created a website with a similar concept, i.e. a music library website. And may be able to help me out with pointers. Maybe a better theme for this purpose or plugins that can help me accomplish what I’m looking for.
