  • Login from another pc with a different IP, or spoof your IP from the banned IP.

If you have access to your database:

Or if you have access to your FTP, temporary rename the plugin to disable it, then rename it back once logged in. White list your IP Address.

If it’s an IP (host) lockout it’s temporary. By default a temporary lockout will expire after 15 minutes. So all you have to do is wait 15 minutes and then retry logging in… There is no need to temporarily deactivate the plugin.

If you can’t wait for 15 minutes my previous post describes 2 options to login immediately despite the IP lockout. Temporarily deactivating the plugin works as well.

However if it’s an IP ban it’s permanent. Your IP is banned on the application server level (when using Apache in the .htaccess file). Temporarily deactivating the plugin won’t work. You’ll need to edit the .htaccess file to remove your IP …

Thanks for your help. Deactivating the plugin didnt solve my problem. I used cyberghost to acces my admin and delete the plugin.

    Have a good day
