When I log in it takes me to this page:

    https://www.kindredspiritspack.com/wp-admin/

Like it should, only instead of getting the admin, I get an error:

    404 Error File Not Found
The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Can anyone help me? I can’t fix it if I cannot long in to do so. Does it need reinstalled on the server or what?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Ok, I have three websites on the same hosting account. So in the FTP, I see the other 2 sites, but not the main one. I also don’t see any plug in folders for the original site.

All WordPress sites have a plugins folder within wp-content.

I do, but they are on the other 2 websites. Anything for https://www.kindredspiritpack.com appears to be missing and I am not sure how to fix that.

What folders do you have in that domain?

Ok, sorry, I think I found the plugins, but it is empty.

    It read:
    public_html
    Calvert
    cgi-bin
    quarantinetheband
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    wp-includes

Anytime I try to click on anything in the folders not labeled Calvert or Quarantinetheband, I get the error failed to retrieve directory listing.

Thanks for your help, I just reinstalled it and will start from scratch.
