my page is not loading.

Hello, I have identical problem like this. It started happening after the last update.
At least once a day, cash is saved as Author page instead of the current page on the front page of the site.
So, the author’s page is cached instead of homepage. When I clear the cache on the homepage everything comes back. However, it happens again, at least once a day.
Can you help us with this problem?

Hello, for all users who faced with this kind of problem, please revert to the previous version of the plugin. WP Super Cache 1.7.8 works fine.

Unfortunately reverting won’t fix the problem permanently because the plugin will be updated again and whatever bug is triggered on your sites will be triggered again.

The debug tab of the plugin has a setting that makes the plugin check the front page for a string that is normally found on the front page. If it doesn’t find it then the cache page is deleted.

I’ll have to investigate this. Is WordPress running in the same place the site is running from? Some sites put WordPress in a sub directory and modify wp-config.php to point at that directory..

Version 1.7.8 is now on my installation. Auto update is off. And it seems to be working OK for now.

Is WordPress running in the same place the site is running from?…

All installations are in one domain. No subdomains.
