My pages aren't displaying their posts

My website has been active for years and I have never had problems with posts being displayed until now. Over the last few days, the posts on the following two pages have disappeared from their relevant pages (they were appearing perfectly before). As you can see there are no posts displayed – all you can see are the page titles:

https://www.step.ie/eventsI have upgraded to the latest WordPress (3.9), the categories remain the same and I didn’t do anything with the coding, so I am stumped about how to resolve this. The posts are still appearing on the home page: https://www.step.ie. Also, when you search for “Events” or “News”, all the posts are displayed e.g. https://www.step.ie/?s=events
Can anyone help me on this?
