My phpMyAdmin postmeta is very large

    `A few days ago I installed the LiteSpeed ??Cache plugin on my site.

    Since installing, I have noticed that the size of my SQL database is increasing abnormally.

    My SQL database has grown from 4gb to 10gb. I noticed a lot more size of postmeta in my phpMyAdmin.

    In this case, I have deactivated the Light Speed ??plugin.
    My database is now under control since reactivating. Even now the size of my database is not increasing abnormally.

    But I don’t know the process of reducing the abnormal size of old postmeta database.

    Please help me, how can I clean my unwanted postmeta database?

    I checked. The size of the backup database in my cPanel is only 30 MB.

    But the size of phpMyAdmin is 10 GB.

    Yes. My backup is zipped and after unzipped my database is 10GB.
    But why did my database grow abnormally and now how do I get it back to its previous position?

    Hi,

    please try analyze the table , to see what is the content that uses such space

    do you have a lot of images and run the image optmization ?

    the only thing LSCWP will write into postmeta table is image optm information

    but it only stores like 100 Byte per image, you will have to have like hundreds millions images to get that much space

    No, I don’t have many images on my site. My site has a total of 900 to 1000 images. Two or three images per post. Even all my images have been optimized.
