my post don't appear under catagories

category archive generally do not use pages.

try using a ‘categories’ widget in one of the sidebars in your theme, and see if clicking those links will show the posts in the category archive.

is this https://www.ads-software.com/themes/accesspress-ray your theme?

if so, please post in https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/accesspress-ray/

Perhaps you are looking in the wrong place. Go to Posts > Categories and click the ‘View’ link under the name of one of the categories in the table.

Thanks for the advice.. it does work when I take the root to get to the page from – post- catagories- view but it does go to that page from the HOME page.

please help
