  • You might have the Disallow Search Engines option turned on.

Look on that same settings page you mentioned under reading settings at the very bottom. Is the box checked? If it is uncheck it and the problem should be resolved within 72 hours.

    Hope this helps.

    hey, thanks for your answer,
unfortunatelly its not that, it was already uncheck…

The only other thing I can think of would be that you have a robots.txt file somewhere on your server that is set to disallow search engines.

Look for a file called robots.txt on your FTP server or in your cPanel file manager. If it is there delete it. If this is the problem it’ll take the same 72 hours as the last fix would but you should then start seeing your posts show up in google.

    Hope this helps.

hey thanks again but thi is the only robot file i have : User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Disallow: /wp-includes/

ok i dont think its that too….

Actually. Yes it is. You are blocking the php code in the includes file from being read.

WordPress puts code in the includes file that tells search engines the site uses WordPress so they know how to correctly crawl it. Therefore, you need to remove Disallow: /wp-includes/ from your robots fie. Personally, I would not have a robots file though because Google knows not to index wp-admin as well.
